Program Mission

The Two Years Diploma program in Banking and Finance (BAF) is designed to provide students with both the conceptual and technical skills needed by the potential employers of BAF diploma graduates. In this 2-year BAF Diploma program, students will study several concentration courses in banking and finance, as well as business, economics, statistics and a variety of other skills necessary to the market needs. In addition to catering the needs of entry-level jobs in the market, the ECT BAF Diploma Courses may also be articulated with a Bachelor Program in Banking and Finance being offered in four-year senior colleges and universities in the country and abroad.

  • Offer ECT students a high quality, innovative and market needed skills/competencies based on a 2-year Diploma Program in Banking and Finance at affordable costs.
  • Provide ECT students with the outcomes and skills-based education in the discipline of banking and finance deploy an effective mix of the best practice instructional methodologies and strategies, and prepare the students for successful careers in Banking and Finance.
  • Provide potential employers with highly competent graduates with professional ethics in the field of banking and finance at entry-level.
  • Prepare students of the ECT 2-year Diploma Program in Banking and Finance for pursuing further studies at other senior colleges and universities within the UAE and abroad.
  • Demonstrate to the students how academic students of ECT Diploma Program in Banking and Finance relate to the world of banking and finance practice.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships between the ECT Diploma Program in Banking and Finance and the leaders of banking and finance profession.
