Dr. Mohamed Chakib Kolsi is an assistant professor and the head of the accounting & finance department at Emirates College of Technology, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Mohamed Chakib Kolsi obtained his PhD degree from the University of Manouba, Tunisia in 2010 and his Masters in 2003. Dr. Kolsi earns more than 17 years of teaching experience with large administrative experience as head of the department.
Dr. Anas has a PhD from Finance Faculty, University of Banking and Financial Sciences, Jordan. He obtained his master’s degree from Finance Faculty, University of Banking and Financial Sciences, and his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Business, Muta University, Jordan. He has also supervised two PhD students in Jordan and Malaysia as a Co-Supervisor 2017, 2019 respectively.
Ahmad A. Al-Hiyari received his PhD in Accounting from College of Business (COB) at the University Utara Malaysia (AACSB accredited), in 2016. He received his M.B.A with a major in Accounting from the University of Jordan, in 2010. His research interests lie in financial accounting and corporate governance with a specific interest in auditing, financial reporting, and the role of accounting information in capital markets. His teaching interest includes financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, and financial management. He published in a number of reputable international journals. Dr Myriam is a faculty member at the Department of Accounting and Finance. Dr. Myriam has a PhD from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management, University of Sfax, Tunisia. She obtained her master's degree from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management, University of Sfax, Tunisia, and her bachelor's degree from the High Business School, University of Sfax, Tunisia. Prior to joining ECT at 2011, Dr. Myriamworked as an assistant professor at Higher Institute of Business, at the University of Sousse, Tunisia.
Dr. Asma Masroukiis an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Faculty of Business at Emirates College of Technology, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Asma has a PhD from the Higher Institute of Management, University of Tunis, Tunisia. She obtained her master’s degree from the Higher Institute of Business Studies of Carthage, University of Carthage, Tunisia, and her bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute ofManagement, University of Tunis, Tunisia.
Dr. Nabil DahdahanAssistant Professor in the Faculty of BusinessAdministration at Emirates College of Technology, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Nabil Dahdah obtained a Ph. D. from Michigan State University in East Lansing. Prior to this, he received his Masters degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and his Bachelors degree from the American University of Beirut.
Dr Elias Abu AL-Haija received his Doctoral degree in Economic and Islamic Banking from Yarmouk University, Jordan. Dr Elias’s research focuses on Islamic Banking and Finance. His articles are published in peer-reviewed international journals. The courses Dr Elias teaches include Finance, Banking, Economic, and Islamic Banking. Prior to joining ECT, Dr Elias worked as a Director of the risk management department at Jordan Islamic Bank for more than twenty years, as well as he is a professional trainer in many fields including Islamic banking and Finance at many training centres in Jordan, SA, and UAE.
