Amidst honest and fair competition, the Emirates College of Technology has witnessed the student council elections for the academic year 2017-2018, following which, students have chosen President and Vice President for both male and female students’ councils. 15 candidates went for the council; Khamees Ghanem Al Morr, Management student, has won the presidency of the council, and Mohammad Saeed Al Maamari, Media student, won as Vice President. As for the females, Fatima Maher Hammami, Health Management student, won the President chair, whereas Roula Hekmat Kheir, Media student, won as the Vice President.
Concluding the event, Mr Mohammad Atiya, head of Student Affairs, thanked and appreciated the student councils’ members and wished them the best of luck. He also urged them to strengthen the communication between ECT management and students and promised that they would be provided with the complete support by the management.
